Advice for MLE's
Advice for Teachers
Advice for teachers starting up a Modern Learning Classroom
- Once the systems are in place it will be easier
- A lot of structure is required
- Once routines are in place the class will run as a normal classroom but many different rotations are required due to class size. For groupings you need to ensure there are a variety of activities for students to complete
- For reading groups teachers need to do a walk around, just to ensure everyone is on-task.
- For maths groups the students were provided with a greater variety of activities to accompany the larger class size
- You will need to think about what reliever you will have in the classroom whence you are not at school. Is it someone who can 'fit' into the MLE teaching? Will the students be responsible and continue with their normal learning?
- Who will take which group for maths/reading/writing?
